The municipal cemetery became decrepit and in a state of disrepair over time and previous neglect; however, with the help of the officers and members of STA. CATALINA TIMPUYOG ORGANIZATION, based in Rome, Italy, led by Mr. Ramil R. Ramilo as its President, the transformation of the cemetery from its hollowed ground into a beautified and peaceful haven was achieved. Being one of Sta. Catalina's most active development partners abroad, Sta. Catalina Timpuyog Organization, in partnership with the Municipal Government, initiated the renovation of the cemetery and eventually, the reconstruction is now completed.
