Mayor Carlos R. Asuncion and Municipal Agriculturist Nerio A. Recaido represented the Municipality of Sta. Catalina, Ilocos Sur in receiving the Certificate of Award of One (1) Unit of High Frequency Pest-killing Lamp and the Certificate of Turn-over of One (1) site Farm-to-Market Road on the occasion of the FIELDS (Fertilizer, Irrigation & Infrastructure, Extension & Training, Loans, Dryers, Seeds) Information Caravan held on October 29, 2008 at Candon City Civic Center. Sangguniang Bayan Members and 50 farmer-leaders of the municipality were there to accompany Mayor Asuncion. Governor DV Savellano, Congressman Eric Singson, Candon City Mayor Allen Singson and prominent high-ranking officials of the Dept. of Agriculture took turns in awarding farm equipments and supplies to other Local Government Units of Ilocos Sur.
