Ninety four (94) couples received the 7th sacrament of matrimony officiated by Rev. Venusto L. Mata, Parish Priest of St. Catherine de Alexandria. The mass wedding earmarked a record-high in the history of church wedding in Sta. Catalina, Ilocos Sur. Thanks to the initiative of the Bayanihan ng mga Kababaihan led by its President, Mrs. Flora Rafanan Asuncion in cooperation with the Municipal Government under the helms of Mayor Carlos R. Asuncion.
