Sta. Catalina, being situated along the coastline of South China Sea, is gearing to venture in the booming tourism trade.  Our town can offer local and foreign tourists the relaxation brought by beach resorts.  At present, some beach resorts and lodging houses are already  in business. One way of promoting said activity is to provide infrastructure support thus  the need to complete the concreting of one (1) linear kilometer road at Quirino Road going to Sta. Catalina beach. Due to limited financial resources of the municipality, Mayor Carlos R. Asuncion requested financial assistance from Hon. Congressman Ronald V. Singson for the concreting of Quirino Road. Thanks to the good solon, the concreting project was completed.
