Dr. Philip Lewis (not in the photo) took a vacation here in his hometown Sta. Catalina and brought along with him donations from Ilocano Association in USA based in Florida, USA. Ten brand new computer printers were donated for use by the different schools and other agencies of the municipality. Last year (2008), 34 computers were donated by IAUSA that were eventually distributed to schools and other agencies. In the pictures below taken during the flag-raising ceremony last March 30, 2009, Mayor Carlos R. Asuncion can be seen as he ceremoniously distributed the printers to concerned government officials and employees represented by Mr. Arthur R. Reintegrado (Municipal Planning & Development Coordinator).
