The Municipal of Sta. Catalina acquired a brand new 2009 Foton View 4x2 Ambulance Van with complete basic tools and accessories amounting to P890, 000.00 from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) at Quezon City.

The Ambulance Van was turned over to Mayor Carlos R. Asuncion last January 18, 2010. The immediate release of the Ambulance Van was made possible through the good friend of Mayor Caloy, the president of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP), Hon. Ramon Guico. The acquisition of the brand new Ambulance Van is very timely since the present ambulance of the municipality was acquired way back in the early 90’s and frequently undergoes repair entailing expenses and sometimes hindering the transport of patients when needed. The presence of the brand new Ambulance Van will surely be a great help to the townspeople of Sta. Catalina..

This Ambulance Procurement Program of the municipality was a joint undertaking between the PCSO, LMP and the Municipality of Sta. Catalina.
